Jason Scott, DDS, MS
I feel incredibly grateful to be part of a profession that allows me to change lives by transforming smiles. It’s an honor to build lifelong relationships with my patients and their families. I approach my work with dedication, positivity and a commitment to excellence, while having fun along the way.
Education
I began my academic journey at Brigham Young University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. From there, I attended dental school at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where I received several academic scholarships and had the opportunity to join the Dean’s Leadership Institute. While at UCLA, I also served as president of the Orthodontic Study Club, which was one of the highlights of my time there.
After dental school, I was honored to be accepted into one of three residency spots at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. There, I completed two and a half years of specialized orthodontic training, which gave me the tools and knowledge to create beautiful, healthy smiles.
Professional Journey
After completing my residency, I practiced in northern Spokane for two years before moving to Broomfield, Colorado, where I worked for another three years. My wife, Katie, and I are thrilled to be back in the Inland Northwest, where she was born and raised, and where we’re excited to put down roots with our family.
Associations
I’m an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists® and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. Staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in orthodontics is very important to me, and I regularly attend meetings and training courses to ensure my patients receive the most effective, cutting-edge care possible.
Outside the Office
When I’m not in the office, my favorite role is being “Dad” to our four kids. Together with my wife, Katie, and our yellow lab, Maya, we love exploring the mountains and lakes of the Pacific Northwest. I also enjoy watching college sports (Go Cougs!) playing music and training for triathlons. On summer evenings, you’ll often find me grilling burgers and spending time with my family, making memories in the place we love.
Orthodontics isn’t just about straight teeth — it’s about creating confidence, improving health, and making a difference in people’s lives. I’m so grateful to be part of that journey for my patients.
